Repainting the Macedon Center fire hall
The fire department's metal hall had faded to a weathered red. We made repairs, caulked, masked the windows and covered the ground, then sprayed it white.
We make repairs and caulk first, then mask the windows and cover the ground before we roll or spray.
We paint clapboard and metal siding by brush, roller or sprayer, depending on the surface.
We paint trim, doors and shutters.
We paint railings, rim boards and stair stringers, and stain the decking and steps.
We stain new log homes and cabins, porch decks included.
On a tall clapboard building, we work from ladders and a lift to reach the upper trim.

After the builder was done, we stained the logs a deep reddish brown and the porch deck to go with them, finished the wide-plank loft floors and put up a tongue-and-groove ceiling.
Once the new deck boards were down, we painted the railings, rim boards and stringers white and stained the decking and steps.
This two-story clapboard building dates to about 1875. Our crew painted it from a stepladder and a boom lift with a sprayer.
